The release of Beyoncé's latest visual album Lemonade on April 23 captured the world's attention when the star, 34, spoke out so much about the themes of Black Lives Matter and intersectional feminism. Beyonce's Ivy Park collection recently hit shelves at Topshop and Nordstrom, and it definitely elevates activewear beyond the basic hoodie, sweatpants, and sports bra looks we're used to. Hence why the fashion-forward hoodie from Lemonade looks like an Ivy Park original.
Unfortunately, this hoodie is not yet part of the current collection and is therefore not available for purchase at Ivy Park apparel outlets. But that doesn't mean some of the clothing in the video, specifically this Ladd hoodie, isn't a preview of the upcoming Ivy Park collection. We'll just have to wait for this one, folks.
Personally, I think this hoodie is well worth the wait. Since "Lemonade" is filled with incredible racial imagery and progressive messages, owning one of Beyoncé's latest highly political works would be an honor for any fan - especially after "Formation" Since then, Beyoncé seems to have shifted her focus to politics and creating art. Surrounding the unique experiences of black women in America.
Plus, a hoodie that zips up the front and back allows for endless styling options.
