As the emotional trailer's opening credits reveal, the docuseries will focus on how Sheeran became an "unlikely" star. Unlike his 2018 documentary "Songwriter," which focused on the musician's career and success, the upcoming series will be the first of its kind to dive deep into Sheeran's personal life. Four sections titled "Love," "Loss," "Balance" and "Life" will chart his journey through a turbulent year filled with personal struggles.
The synopsis explains that the show will "offer an explicit and brutally honest look at his private life as he explores the universal themes that inspire his music."
