Orlando Bloom surprises bargoers with impromptu karaoke performance

Picture this: It's St. Patrick's Day and you're holed up in a bar enjoying a pint of Guinness when a Hollywood star suddenly stands up and serenades the entire bar with an Irish folk song. As it happens, that's exactly what happened at the Windsor Alma Hotel, where Orlando Bloom sang "She Crossed the Fair" in front of a crowd. "I'm pretty pissed off but I'm sure it was Orlando Bloom belting out an Irish song," Capital Radio host Chris Stack wrote on Twitter. As it happened, Bloom joined Irish band Juice Of The Barley on stage. "On St. Patrick's Day, the last thing I expected was Legolas without legs," Stark later told OK! "Magazine . "I actually thought he was really good, but it's probably a Guinness World Record."

While the collaboration came as a surprise to punters, Bloom and the band's history goes back a long way. Band member Craig McEvoy has been dating the actor for years and once lived next door to him. "It was so nice to have my old friend and next-door neighbor Orlando Bloom drop by," the musician wrote on Facebook. Bloom, known for starring in "The Lord of the Rings" and "Pirates of the Caribbean," even Trying to perform in an Irish accent, his singing voice is surprisingly husky, putting a pirate's sea shanty to shame.
