Not everyone thinks exes should attend weddings, but in Bachelor Nation, they're a must. As expected, the first Golden Bachelor wedding featured a number of women that groom Gerry Turner sent home before proposing to his now-wife Theresa Nestor. Even this season's runner-up Leslie Fhima was in attendance to celebrate the happy couple.
an unforgettable night
Fans believe that Fhima may compete in the January 4th match. Between her breakup with Turner and a medical emergency in the final days of December, it's understandable that she stayed home to recover. However, Fima not only attended, she shared on social media afterward that she had a great night at the highly anticipated Bachelor Nation blowout.
"Golden weddings are so much fun!" Fhima captioned the January 6 Instagram post. “So excited to see all my friends and Bachelor Nation alumni!!”
Her post included nine photos from Turner and Nest's wedding, and yes, it looks like she loved the glitz and glamor. Fhima - who, never forget, is a national aerobics champion - took her moves to the dance floor alongside former Bachelor Ben Higgins. She also rubbed shoulders with many of the series' biggest names, including Desiree Hartsock Siegfried, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Rachel Rachel Recchia, in addition to reuniting with fellow Bachelor contestants Joan Vassos and Faith Martin.

let love last forever
A Bachelor Nation reunion is great, but Fima's main reason for attending the wedding was to "celebrate love," she told Kathy Swartz during an interview at the wedding. "At our age, we have to celebrate love," she said. "Teresa and I are great friends. We've supported each other throughout our time at home and throughout this journey. I'm very, very happy for her and Gerry."
Even after the wedding, Fima continued to show her support for the bride. She captured a sweet moment between her and Nest at the reception and shared it to her Instagram Story on January 5. "Love you @theresa_nist," she wrote on it.
These sweet gestures are in line with her overall attitude about not winning The Bachelor . Shortly after the finale aired, Fhima took to Instagram to reflect on her journey and share her silver lining. "The overwhelming support has been my greatest reward," she wrote in part. “This experience has opened my heart and I’m excited for the next chapter, wherever it may lead.”
