Sabrina Bryan is ready for the Cheetah Girls reunion. The actor reviewed the Disney Channel original movie on the Sex, Lies & Spray Tan podcast and teased that a sequel may be coming soon.
"The Cheetah Girls will probably get a movie," Bryan said when host Cheryl Burke asked about the possibility. "I felt like there were signs that something was going on," she continued. "I really want to do a reunion show. I would love to get on stage and party with my girls again."
When asked if it would actually come to fruition, Bryan added: "I think rumors and steps may start to happen. I don't think anything has been approved yet."
"The Cheetah Girls" was released in 2003 and tells the story of four friends: Galleria (Raven Simone), Chanel (Adrienne Baron-Horton), and Aquanette (Keeley Williams) ) and Dorinda (Bryan) - rose to fame after forming a successful girl group. .
The musical spawned two sequels, 2006's Cheetah Girls 2 and 2008's Cheetah Girls: In One World, the latter of which did not star Simone.
Speaking on the Sex, Lies, and Spray Tan podcast, Bryan discussed the "separation" she, Williams and Byron Horton often felt from Simone, who was busy filming Disney's That's So Raven" . "I think the second movie was a little bit tough behind the scenes," she admits. "I don't think you saw it on camera at all."
Bryan isn't the only actor discussing a potential revival. Simeone also mentioned this possibility in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight .
"It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Cheetah Girls ," she said. “[It’s] another moment in culture that empowers girls, empowers fashion, empowers songs—so lucky to be a part of it.”
