Glen Powell takes one thing as seriously as his burgeoning acting career: partying. During Powell's interview with Bustle, John Stamos revealed that his Scream Queens costar often throws themed parties when they return home to Austin, and the festivities are pretty loud.
After becoming friends with Powell on the set of Scream Queens Season 2, Stamos took his family to Powell's Texas location because nothing connects people like filming a shower scene together. 's family ranch and was annoyed by the theme of the evening.
"There were some themed parties every day with 20 to 25 people, and by the time we got there it was the '80s," he said. "I said, 'I'm in the fucking '80s. Why do I have to dress up?"
Obviously, this didn't sit well with Powell, who retaliated with a prank on Stamos for not wearing a costume. "We were on the dock at the lake and this guy came up and grabbed me and threw me in the water," he recalled. “I thought, ‘Why?’ He said, ‘Welcome to Texas. "I said, 'Go get my sunglasses.'"
Despite his antics, Stamos had nothing but positive things to say about Powell and his acting. "We all thought, this guy was going to be the biggest star," he said.
"It took a while...we started to think, 'Oh my gosh, are we wrong about this guy? We can't be wrong. He's so damn talented. He's so handsome. He's so good. . I’m glad to see we don’t.”

While his acting and partying career was on the rise, dating was another story. In the interview, Powell discussed his dating life following his split from longtime girlfriend Gigi Paris in March, saying he had been talking to friends about feeling lonely but was worried about dating now that he was experiencing newfound fame.
"They're like, 'Glen, you're a bachelor. I know you're trying to do all the right things in all the right ways, but you just have to accept the fact that these failures are probably going to be more public, than most people's More hurtful, maybe more embarrassing, but that's OK. But when you're going to fall, and inevitably fall in love, it works," he said.
Even his father, Glen Powell Sr., chimed in, explaining why Powell is currently facing challenges in relationships and admitting that dating isn't hard for him.
"It's definitely going to happen, but it's a difficult thing to do from his perspective," he said. "It's hard [for him] to know what's real and what's not."
