Joey King's Hip Cutout Dress Is the Chictest Dress I've Seen All Week

I can't think of a more perfect ending than Joey King's latest look, which debuted at the closing ceremony on May 25th.

The We're the Lucky Ones actor brought not one but two stunning looks to the event. My personal favorite was the custom yellow taffeta dress by Miu Miu, which she paired with crystal-covered opera gloves.

Joey's buttery yellow dress

King's iridescent gown featured a plunging scoop neckline and '50s-inspired cap sleeves. Even with its retro-inspired design details, the sleek silhouette has a distinctly modern feel thanks to the fitted column shape and buttery yellow colorway (it's the color of summer, after all).

The back features a small circular cutout on the lower back, with a delicate black bow neatly placed on top. I've said it before and I'll say it again: butt cutouts have officially become a trend.

Her accessories are dazzling

King elevated her otherwise simple look with a pair of $10,000 white gold and diamond drop earrings from Gabriel & Co., but the real star of the show were her gauzy opera gloves. Miu Miu pieces are studded with crystals, pearls and beaded tassels.

Note: Her super short bob haircut

Kim's look was certainly stunning, but fans were quick to notice her new hairstyle. While staying in the South of France, King decided to dive headfirst into a new summer aesthetic, super short hair. Just a day ago, she walked the red carpet with her long blonde hair.

Her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, calls her new haircut the "Prada Bob" — which is appropriate considering she's wearing a Miu Miu look.
