Meghan Markle just launched a new lifestyle brand

Meghan Markle appears to have launched a new lifestyle brand. On March 14, the Duchess of Sussex shared a surprising Instagram post on a new account. The page consists of a series of images that form a large photo that includes the brand's logo as well as the words "American Riviera Orchards" and "Montecito" - the latter being the California town where she lives with her family.

The new page's bio reads "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex⁣⁣⁣" and "⁣⁣Established 2024⁣⁣⁣" and an Instagram story uploaded by the account shows Meghan arranging flowers for Nancy Wilson's 1960 and prepare food click "I hope you love".

American Riviera Orchards also has an official website, which is currently just a reserved page that encourages visitors to join a waiting list.

A source recently claimed to Page Six that the brand will serve as an extension of her previous lifestyle blog, The Tig, and will be centered around home, garden and food. The name of Meghan's new lifestyle brand also appears to be inspired by her home in Santa Barbara, California, which is often referred to as the "American Riviera."

The Duchess launched her lifestyle blog The Tig in 2014 before marrying into the British royal family. She publishes content about fashion and beauty, as well as empowering pieces for young women.

"I knew girls would come to the site to learn fashion tips or how to get a great blow-dry," she previously said of The Tig, which she eventually shuttered in 2017. "I wanted to blend social awareness and higher themes." Value than, say... selfies. "

In 2022, reports emerged that Meghan had filed for a trademark on The Tig, sparking speculation that the lifestyle blog would be revived in some form.

Meghan returns to Instagram

Meghan's brand launch also marks her return to Instagram.

She deactivated her personal social media accounts in 2018. In 2022, she revealed to The Cut that she would be "returning to Instagram," and earlier this month during a South by Southwest panel, the duchess said she was keeping her "distance" from the "toxicity" from social media.
