Zendaya's favorite quality about boyfriend Tom Holland might be his sense of humor or his great lip-syncing skills. But this might actually be his "rizz." In a Puppy Preview interview with BuzzFeed, Zendaya called his charisma a "natural gift."
She was asked which of the cast of " Dune: Part 2" has the most "rizz," which Merriam-Webster defines as "romantic attraction or charm" but is often used as an abbreviation for charisma. "Uh, me. Hello?" Zendaya said. "I don't know. Rizz is short for charm, right? There's something for everyone."
She finally settled on an answer. "I think Mr. Tom Holland is a beautifully charismatic person who, while not in the cast of Dune , works for me personally," she said. She explained that Holland was more outgoing and sociable than she was.
"I'm shyer and quieter, so it takes more time to pull me out of my shell," she said. "But he's great at talking to people, getting to know people. You see him on talk shows and stuff like that. He's naturally very good at that. I did have to pull that out of me a little bit. He has Such talent.”
However, the Netherlands may not agree. In June, the actor said in his own BuzzFeed interview that his "rizz" wasn't up to par. "I'm happy and in love, so I don't need stimulation," he said. "I don't have any rizz; I have limited rizz."
In fact, he hinted that he was able to bring out his "energy" on Zendaya because of the close proximity they work in. "I really need you to fall in love with me for this to work," he said. "The long game. Possibly doing a movie together - it definitely helps when the characters love each other and you can blur the lines a little bit."
Holland and Zendaya first met on the set of 2016's Spider-Man: Homecoming and sparked romance rumors almost immediately. In July 2021, the two were spotted kissing in a car, confirming this speculation. Since then, they've become more open about their relationship, but still keep it as private as possible.
"I can't stop being a human being and living my life and loving the people I love," Zendaya told Elle in August. "And, I do have control over what I choose to share. It's about protecting the peace and making it your own, but also not being afraid to exist. You can't hide. It's not fun either."
