Lea Michele is expecting her second child with husband Zandy Reich

New Directions has another future member coming soon. Lea Michele revealed on March 27 that she was pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Zandy Reich.

The "Glee " actor announced her pregnancy news on Instagram, sharing a slideshow of herself wearing a long white scarf that exposed her baby bump. "Mom, dad and Ever are so happy," she wrote in the post.

While she hasn't revealed the sex of her baby yet, fans in the comments section are hoping for a "mini Rachel Berry." Her celebrity friends also sent congratulations. Ashley Tisdale just announced she's pregnant with second child, writing: "So excited for this wonderful family," while Michele's Glee star ) co-star Max Adler simply wrote: "Congratulations!!!"

Michelle announced her first pregnancy in May 2020 by posting an outdoor photo of her pregnant belly. That August, she and Reich welcomed their first child, a son named Ever.

Michelle has opened up about the difficulties she faced while pregnant with her second child. When she was asked on Instagram Stories if she wanted to give Ever a sibling in March 2022, she wrote: "We certainly hope so. Our journey bringing him into this world has not been easy and this time we There have been some heartbreaks but trust that God will bring another one to them in due time.”

Last year, she went live on Instagram with Katherine Schwarzenegger to talk about her struggles with fertility, saying she had polycystic ovary syndrome.

"I was like, 'Let's stop [trying]," she said. "I kept thinking, 'Maybe this isn't for me. Maybe this isn't going to happen. For me personally, that's always been my biggest fear in life. This is what I want the most. Emotionally, it's just Just started building and building...and then we got pregnant."
