There are many highlights at the 2024 Grammy Awards, but only some of them are strong performances. It was equally fun to watch the celebrities react to the moments throughout the fun night as the audience was filled with love. It all started right at the beginning, when Miley Cyrus made her TV debut on "Flowers," starring Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey. Oprah Winfrey is dancing.
Stars from stage and screen - Swift, Winfrey, Cyrus, Meryl Streep, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo , SZA and more – gathered at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena to celebrate the past year in the music industry. If they're not performing on stage themselves, they're dancing, yelling, crying, or doing all of the above from their seats.
Here are the best celebrity reactions to the 2024 Grammy performances.
Oprah and Taylor Swift dance for Miley Cyrus
Cyrus' performance of "Flowers" had the whole room cheering — especially after she accused the audience of acting like they didn't know her song. Stars reacted accordingly, with Swift dancing on her dining room table and Winfrey singing every word. Swift cheered as Cyrus proudly announced she had won her first Grammy.
Swift sings to Olivia Rodrigo
While Olivia Rodrigo was on stage performing her song "Vampire," Swift was jamming to the Grammy-nominated hit. Some Swifties were surprised, considering the rumors of a feud between the two artists. There doesn't seem to be any bad blood.
Beyoncé sheds tears watching Joni Mitchell
Legendary singer Joni Mitchell mesmerized the crowd with her first Grammy performance, including Queen Bey, who seemed emotional at the end of Mitchell's song "Both Sides Now."
From Dua Lipa to Meryl Stewart, Mitchell performed with an all-star band that included Brandi Carlile, Allison Russell and Jacob Collier. Rip's other stars also appeared to shed tears in the moment.
The audience gave Mitchell a standing ovation.
Swift Nuggis Jack Antonoff
After Grammy host Trevor Noah announced Jack Antonoff as the winner of Producer of the Year in the non-classical category, Swift teased her collaborator and castmate with "noogie-ing," as one Said by Swift. Antonoff seemed to happily accept the ridicule, especially considering he and Swift won Album of the Year for "Midnight" not long after.
