Dermot Mulroney and Julia Roberts Want 'My Best Friend's Wedding' Sequel

Jules Porter might get another chance at true love. Julia Roberts revealed on Watch What Happens Live that the movie she'd most like to get a sequel to is My Best Friend's Wedding , and her co-star Dermot Mulroney is also hoping to make it happen.

In an interview with CBS Mornings , Roberts revealed what she thought her character Jules would be like 25 years after the film's release, saying she didn't think anything happened between her and Morrone's Michael, Michael is her nominal best friend and she once tried to crash his wedding.

However, when asked where he saw Michael today, Morrone said he didn't want to write that storyline. "Oh gosh. I don't know — that's not my job," he quipped. "But if they put this story together, I'll definitely be there."
