The hive is buzzing for Beyoncé's Renaissance movie

Please don't panic and stay calm. Beyoncé's Renaissance Movie Is Here, and The Hive Has Some Ideas .

Following the film's premiere in Los Angeles on November 25th (with a surprise reunion of Destiny's Child), the highly anticipated "Renaissance: The Beyoncé Movie" finally opens in theaters on December 1st.

Written, directed and produced by Queen Bey herself, the concert film gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, which is set to break records in the summer of 2023.

With the movie now in theaters, the first reviews are in and fans are giving their approval.

"This movie is everything"

"Man. Renaissance movies are everything and more," one fan gushed on X (formerly Twitter). "I cried at least five times during the movie," wrote another, praising the film as "perfect, black, queer and inspirational."

"The Renaissance Tour movie is somehow better than watching the tour in reality," said a third.

Meanwhile, other fans claim Queen Bey has already surpassed her 2019 Netflix film Homecoming.

"If you thought the transitions in Homecoming were good, wait until you see the transitions in Renaissance . I'm gagged!" wrote another. " Renaissance being on top for Homecoming is a crazy achievement," one fan added.

"You are the vision"

Fans have long called for Beyoncé to release a Renaissance visual, but the singer declared during her 2023 summer stadium tour that the fans themselves "are the visual." The Hive is now on the same page following the film's release.

"The fan clips in the Renaissance movie were the best part," one fan commented. "When she said 'you're a visual baby,' she meant it."

" Renaissance is that movie," wrote another. “The visuals, the editing, the music and the storyline are everything.”

"Variety" magazine said of the film: "This is a monument to Beyoncé's status as one of pop music's most enduring figures." And "Hollywood Reporter " "Renaissance: Beyoncé's Movie" described it as "a completely satisfying meal."
