No one seemed happier than Bella Hadid during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. She camped out on the French Riviera and walked red carpet after red carpet. Every outing, no matter how big or small, gives her the chance to show off a head-turning look, and she seems to relish the challenge.
One of Hadid's most stunning looks in Cannes came as the festival entered its final weekend. On May 23, she was spotted out and about wearing a unique all-white ensemble by Jacquemus. The brand later revealed in an Instagram post that her dress was from an upcoming collection.
Bella's backless dress
Hadid wore a Jacquemus dress at Hotel Martinez. Viewed from the front, she was covered from her neck to just below her knees, with one sleeve stopping at her upper arm and the other ending at her elbow. The asymmetry is even more pronounced when viewed from behind, as one side is backless while the other is fully covered. It's essentially a high-fashion mullet, which isn't a knock.
"So excited to be wearing @bellahadid previewing our next show LA CASA," the brand wrote on Instagram, also teasing its upcoming 15th anniversary show in Capri. Hadid's sister Gigi took the opportunity to share how much she loved the look: "Awesome," she wrote in the comments.
Brand accessories
Hadid chose Jacquemus for most of her outfits. Like her dress, her shoes and bag are from the brand. Her shoes, a pair called Les Doubles Sandales, which look like two pairs of sandals stacked on top of each other, cost $1,060.

White was Hadid's favorite color on May 23. She also wore a gorgeous white Versace dress that day, paired with silver Jimmy Choos and Chopard jewelry. After so many days of fashion extravaganza, what should we do after the Cannes Film Festival?
