Over the past few months, fans have theorized about the "unprecedented and shocking" ending to Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor , but it's easy to forget that Season 28 is also being teased for “the most romantic season in Bachelor history.” Fortunately for viewers, the March 25 finale lived up to expectations.
Joey introduced Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson to his family on The Bachelor finale, and both meetings went well. But soon the decision became clear - even to Daisy, who told Joey she knew she wasn't the one for him and left the final rose ceremony on her own terms. This set the stage for Joey and Kelsey to get engaged on The Bachelor finale, and it was the perfect proposal.

Daisy's decision to tell Kelsey about her waning relationship with Joey had a positive outcome. This convinced Kelsey that she was his choice as she attended the final rose ceremony.
Joey told Kelsey that the journey could be a challenge. "But there was nothing difficult about choosing you and I can't wait to tell you that I love you. There's just something about you. You have an infectious energy that makes me smile. It's something I've never felt before."
Joey likens their relationship to a "very strong fire" — one that never goes out because Kelsey is his light.
Even though Joey's sisters weren't entirely sure if Kelsey wanted to get engaged, she got nothing but an enthusiastic, tearful "yes" when he got down on one knee.

Of course, filming for this season wrapped up months ago — so are Joey and Kelsey just as strong today? indeed! “I’m excited to be in real life and be able to do things together,” she said. "I'm so happy for everyone to see how much we love each other."
Although Joey explained after "The Final Rose" that it was "hard" for Kelsey to watch The Bachelor return, they have grown and are "the strongest we've ever been."
What's next for them? Kelsey revealed that Joey will be moving to New Orleans temporarily and then to New York in the summer. There's also more travel to come in the near future, as Joey and Kelsey were awarded a free trip back to Jasper, Alberta, where their relationship made major progress.
"I really knew, just because it felt so natural, like a normal date," Kelsey recalled of their time in the small Canadian Rockies town. “I absolutely fell in love with him in Jasper.”
